About LiquorReady
LiquorReady turns your state's liquor license application into a clear sequence, back-planned from your opening date, built for the operators who actually have to work through it.

Why we built this
Liquor licensing information is public, but it is scattered across state ABC agency PDFs, county clerk offices, and outdated portals, and it is different in every state, county, and sometimes city. We built LiquorReady for people who signed a lease with an opening date already on the calendar and do not have time to become licensing experts on top of running a bar or restaurant.
The problem we solve
Every week a liquor license is delayed is a week of rent, payroll, and buildout costs with no revenue to offset them. Most of that delay comes from not knowing the sequence: what to file first, what has to happen locally before the state will even consider an application, and how long each step realistically takes. We organize that sequence and back-plan it from your target opening date.
How LiquorReady works
We maintain free, plain-language guides and free tools like the Liquor License Cost Estimator and the Opening-Date Back-Planner. When you are ready to prepare, the $199 State Liquor License Roadmap assembles everything into one personalized, printable document: a license-type recommendation for your venue, an application walkthrough back-planned from your opening date, a quota and transfer strategy explainer, a server-training and compliance calendar, and an opening-week checklist.
Who we are
LiquorReady is researched and maintained by the LiquorReady Editorial Team, a group of writers and researchers focused on liquor licensing and hospitality operations. We publish under this team byline rather than invented expert names, and we do not use fabricated professional credentials.
We want to be clear about what we are not. We are not a law firm, a licensed liquor-license consultant, or a broker, and we do not replace your state alcoholic beverage authority. We make its requirements easier to find and follow. When a decision needs licensed legal judgment, we say so and point you to a qualified professional or the relevant agency.

The principles we hold ourselves to
Cite the source
When a rule comes from a state ABC agency, we point you to that official page so you can verify it yourself.
Never invent a state's rules
We do not make up fees, quota rules, or processing times. A state's specific facts are stated only when we have verified them from its official source; every other state gets an honest framework and the questions to ask.
No hype, no approval promises
We make no promises about license approval or timing. The opening-date back-planner is a planning baseline, never a guarantee. We organize the sequence; your state ABC agency makes the decisions.
Correct quickly
If a reader flags something wrong, we check it against the source and fix it. Accuracy matters more than being right the first time.
