About LiquorReady
Why we built this
Liquor licensing information is public, but it is scattered across state ABC agency PDFs, county clerk offices, and outdated portals, and it is different in every state, county, and sometimes city. We built LiquorReady for people who signed a lease with an opening date already on the calendar and do not have time to become licensing experts on top of running a bar or restaurant.
The problem
Every week a liquor license is delayed is a week of rent, payroll, and buildout costs with no revenue to offset them. Most of that delay comes from not knowing the sequence: what to file first, what has to happen locally before the state will even consider an application, and how long each step realistically takes. We organize that sequence and back-plan it from your target opening date.
How LiquorReady works
LiquorReady maintains free guides covering requirements by state, alongside free tools. The $199 State Liquor License Roadmap assembles everything into one personalized, printable document.
Who we are
The LiquorReady team researches and maintains this content. We are not a law firm, medical practice, or financial advisor, and we do not replace the relevant licensing or regulatory authority; we make its requirements easier to follow.
